Darryl Reuben Hall* (founder of Stage Aurora Theatrical Company), usually doesn’t entertain in the forefront, yet the man has a set of pipes and can kick higher than any Rocket - even with platform shoes. Alhambra Provides Theater Lovers a Professional Musical Rendition of Broadway’s “The Wiz” by Lynn Jones/ Jacksonville Free Press


Rounding out the cast is Broadway veteran Darryl Reuben Hall, founder of Stage Aurora Theatrical Company. Reuben briefly stepped on the stage as Dorothy’s Uncle Henry. As The Wiz takes on many twists and turns, suddenly Reuben appears in his green pin striped suit, green cape, green platform shoes, green wig and blew the roof off as “The Wiz.” (Click on link for full article)

You don’t really get to know the Wizard until the second act, but his portrayal by Darryl Reuben Hall is well worth the wait.
